Why I Chose to Go Abroad
I have always had a deep desire to explore the world since I was very young and I was able to ignite that passion by attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Through UHM, I was given the opportunity to study abroad through the Manoa International Exchange (MIX) program. The MIX program offered plenty of different locations, but Denmark was the most enticing to me, as it would enable me to explore a lot of different countries and cultures. Through the Shidler College of Business, I received the Johnson Scholarship which has opened a lot of doors for me while going abroad.
